Wen Zhong Dancong
文種單叢

Plucked from 40-year-old tea trees flourishing at an elevation of 850 meters, this distinguished tea traces its origins back to a venerable Dancong tree nurtured by the skilled hands of Lin Shi Wen 林史文. As this tree matured for single bush processing, its captivating flavour enchanted all who tasted it, earning it the namesake after its caretaker. Delighting in its gentle aroma with the initial brew, one savours its gradual evolution through subsequent infusions.

Gardenia Dancong
黃枝香

Sourced from 40-year-old tea trees thriving at an elevation of 950 meters, this Gardenia Dancong captivates with its delicate yet lingering mouthfeel. Known to be the top in the top 10 aromatic Dancong profile, this tea is infused with the subtle essence of Gardenia and boasts a nectar-like consistency, which promises a multi-layered sensory experience.

Song Zhong Dancong
宋種單叢

During the late Southern Song Dynasty, while Emperor Zhao Bing fled to Chaozhou, he suffered from intense thirst while passing through Wudong. His attendants picked fresh tea leaves for him to chew, which relieved his thirst and revitalized his spirit. The tea tree was bestowed with the name "Song Tea" by the Emperor and its cultivation became widespread among future generations. This particular Song Zhong Dancong boasts a complex and enduring flavour profile, likely attributed to its origin from 60-year-old tea trees thriving at an elevation of 950m.

The Story of Phoenix Dancong

The legacy of Phoenix Dancong spans over nine centuries, tracing its origins back to the illustrious Song Dynasty. Elevated to imperial tribute status during the 16th century, this tea underwent meticulous refinement, culminating in the practice of single-bush processing. Each tea was processed from a singular tea bush, preserving the distinct flavour profiles and characteristics of its cultivar. Thus, Phoenix Dancong earned its esteemed reputation, embodying the epitome of tea craftsmanship and heritage.
