Teakan Exploration Kit - Vol. 3

Are you ready for a tea journey that's a little less common? For this Exploration Kit, we've thoughtfully curated teas that might not be familiar to some. This volume will take you to two regions on opposite sides of China - Fujian in the East and Yunnan in the West. Focusing on just two regions, would there be more similarities than differences? That’s for you to find out.

What's in the kit:

The Vol. 3 Exploration Kit includes 5 single-origin teas (66g in total) from different regions:

• Sheng (raw) Pu'er, dark tea from Yongde, Yunnan, China (16g)
• Moonlight White, white tea from Simao, Yunnan, China (10g)
• Dian Hong, black tea from Feng Qing, Yunnan, China (15g)
• Jin Jun Mei, black tea from Tong Mu Guan, Fujian, China (15g)
• Qi Lan, oolong tea from Wuyishan, Fujian, China (10g)

Tea Tasting Events & Stories:

Each kit includes a link to sign up for our private virtual tea tasting sessions which run from March 14 to April 24, 2021. Join Claudia, the tea sommelier and Jan, the tea curious as we brew and appreciate each of the teas in the kit together.

Every tea comes with its provenance, histories/stories, brewing guide and simple flavour profile, so you can “explore” them through different lenses and senses. Depending on the brewing methods, there will be 3-5 servings with multiple brews for each tea, perfect for tea experiment and pairing, or simply throwing a tea tasting party. We've included a simple tasting wheel to get you started on your tea exploration journey.
