Wild Keemun 野生祁門紅茶 - 20g

Elegant yet untamed, this wild Keemun was harvested later in May from the deeper mountain of Qimen, where old heirloom tea varietals continue to grow among rich forest biodiversity and mist-covered terrain.

Compared to earlier spring harvests, the later picking season gives this tea a deeper, more layered character, which balances Keemun’s signature floral sweetness with soft woodiness, and a lingering wild mountain fragrance. The tea brews a smooth and velvety liquor with remarkable depth while maintaining the refined elegance Keemun is celebrated for.

The Story of Keemun
Although Qimen has a long history of tea cultivation, Keemun black tea is a relatively recent creation. It was developed in the late 19th century during the Qing Dynasty, when a local scholar and failed civil servant, Hu Yuanlong, returned home and began experimenting with black tea production after studying techniques from Fujian. His efforts gave rise to Keemun black tea that quickly gained international recognition for its distinctive fragrance and refined character. By the early 20th century, Keemun had become one of China’s most celebrated export teas, prized in both Europe and beyond for its elegant floral aroma and silky texture.
