Shui Xian 武夷水仙
After Qilan, Rou Gui, and Big Red Robe, we are thrilled to share another cornerstone of Wuyi cliff tea – Shui Xian. An indigenous variety of Wuyishan, Shui Xian is celebrated for its thick, mellow body and long-lasting floral fragrance. It is both a tea of everyday comfort and a benchmark for understanding the depth of Wuyi oolongs.
This Shui Xian was harvested in spring and finished with a medium roast. After months of resting, the roast has softened, allowing the tea’s signature smoothness to shine through. Expect the grounding minerality of cliff tea, balanced with a lush orchid fragrance and honeyed sweetness that lingers sip after sip.
