A single scroll. A thousand years of life.
This Asian Heritage Month, step into a living world through Along the River During the Qingming Festival 清明上河圖, one of the most celebrated paintings in Chinese history, brought to life through an immersive tea experience.
Rather than observing from a distance, this immersive tea salon invites you to move through the painting itself; to encounter its people, its rhythms, and its interesting details through tea.
Four Teas · Four Lives
Through four distinct brews, we trace four ways of living:
The Merchant
The Laborer
The Host
The Scholar
Each tea is prepared in a different style, reflecting not only taste but pace, intention, and way of life.
This gathering is held in a relaxed, floor-seated setting.
Tea is brewed close to the ground, and guests are invited to a relaxed and unhurried pace.
Between the brews, we pause to study a 1:1 print of the Qing imperial court reinterpretation of the scroll. A guided moment invites you to trace a single figure through the crowd, to follow their stories and their significance in history.
